Donna

Registered Dental Hygienist

Donna graduated from Owens Community College in 1983 with her degree in Applied Health Science and began practicing dental hygiene immediately. Since that time, she has furthered her education with a variety of courses including a focus on Periodontal Disease. Married for many years to Keith, they share three sons and two grandchildren. Outside of the office, Donna is very active in her church, finds time to scrapbook and weather permitting, she may pass you on her bicycle. Donna shares with our guests that she is amazed by the care that is provided in the office and is proud to be a part of such a caring team.

Stephanie

Registered Dental Hygienist

Stephanie has been a dental hygienist since 2009, graduating at the top of her class. She also acquired her license to administer local anesthesia and to place restorative fillings. In addition, Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene through The Ohio State University (graduating with honors and straight A’s!) and teaches dental hygiene courses at Owens Community College. Stephanie stays on top of the legislation and latest technology for Ohio dental hygienists and currently plays an active role as the Trustee for the Toledo Dental Hygienists’ Association. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys walking her two lovable dogs, bike riding with her husband, and spending time with family.

Angie

Certified Dental Assistant

Angie has been a Dental Assistant for six years graduating at the top of her class at the Ross Medical Academy in Sylvania. Angie has attended many continuing education courses which include the prestigious ITS (Implant Team Seminar) live oral surgery program where she assisted in sinus lifts, bone grafting, and dental implants. Working chair-side with Dr. Tomase, many patients have commented on her cheerfulness and the friendly and relaxed dental experience she creates. Angie is an avid golfer and played on the St Leo’s University golf team, winning numerous tournaments and gaining national recognition in the sport. She also enjoys spending time with her husband Matt, traveling, hiking, snowboarding and is currently training for her first half marathon this May in Pittsburgh.

Kate

Office Manager

Kate has been in dentistry for 30 years and has been Dr. Tomase’s office manager for over 12     years. She has received education and training in the dental field from The Pride Institute, The Levin Group, The Pankey Institute, The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, Jamison Consulting -Laura Jamison, Advanced Hygiene Concepts, Dental Boot Camp, Dale Carnegie and Bob Maccario’s Dental Concierge. As office manager, she works with the team to provide a high standard of care in an atmosphere that is incredible for their guests. She helps meet the needs of patients, from treatment to finances. Kate enjoys the rewarding relationships she and the team have with their guests. She feels that the caring manner and personalities of Dr. Tomase and the entire team set this practice apart from others. When not in the office, Kate’s family is her favorite past-time. She lives in a small town and is involved in many activities.

Taylor

Certified Dental Assistant

Taylor began her career in dentistry as a dental assistant with Tomase Dental Care. She left in 2014 to teach dental assisting at a local college, but returned in January 2018 after starting her family with husband Josh. Taylor says she couldn’t imagine herself working anywhere else as the team and patients are always so welcoming and caring. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their son, Landon, as well as family and friends.

Katie

Patient Care Coordinator

Katie joined the Tomase Dental Care team in August 2016, and is a recent graduate of Stauzenberger College’s Dental Assisting program. Her knowledge of the clinical aspect of the practice helps her assist patients more effectively. Prior to working in the dental field, she has had three years of managerial and marketing experience. In her free time, she enjoys being an aunt to her six nieces and nephews, spending time with friends, playing board games, going to Tigers games, and taking care of her dog, a puggle named Murphy.
